This past week on Friday night, we had a Family Home Evening and carved our pumpkins for Halloween. Uncle Willie and Aunt Tammy came over and we had a lot of fun.

Dallin was very excited to see Aunt and Uncle and he showed off A LOT. We carved pumpkins-one with a cat on a fence from a pattern book and one smiley pumpkin freehanded from a picture we saw in a magazine! Dallin helped by taking the guts out of the pumpkin. "Ewwww!" He thought it was very funny and didn't quite understand why he wasn't supposed to put the guts back into the pumpkin after they were scraped out.

He also play cooked with the pumpkin guts with a pan lid. He was so excited when we lit up the pumpkins with the lights.

He helped Daddy take one outside, but would not leave it out there. (He brought it back in when he wanted to come back inside) So now....we have pumpkins on the top of our bookshelves in the house so Dallin can see them.
We even got to make caramel apples.....mmmmmm.

Dallin kept peeling the caramel off to eat the apple and throwing it on the table like it was the gross part. LOL What a funny little man!!!
